Integrated as a native module for BMC TrueSight Operations Management, TrueSight Operations Management - Hitachi Storage is designed to monitor the health and performance of your managed environment. Prior to install the KM, make sure that the following prerequisites are met.
BMC Framework
| • | PATROL Agent, version 3.9 or higher (see BMC PATROL documentation) |
| • | PATROL Console (see BMC PATROL documentation) |
| • | Java 1.6 or higher (installed on the system where the PATROL Agent runs) |
Hitachi AMS, HUS, USP, VSP Systems
| • | Hitachi Device Manager must be properly installed and the statistics enabled. Refer to Monitoring Hitachi AMS, HUS, USP, and VSP Systems for more details. |
Hitachi VSP Gxxxx Series Systems
| • | The embedded SMI-S provider must be started |
| • | A User with "storage administrator View-only" role must be created |
| • | Statistics must be enabled. |
