Since Hitachi Disk Arrays KM for PATROL leverages the embedded SMI-S provider to collect metrics about Hitachi VSP Series systems, there is no need to install a separate SMI-S provider. The only steps to follow are:

•Starting the Embedded SMI-S provider
•Creating a User with "storage administrator View-only" Role
•Enabling Statistics
