Overview

Hitachi Disk Arrays KM for PATROL monitors all your Hitachi storage assets within a centralized management console. All the information concerning disk arrays, storage pools, controllers, storage volumes, and ports are directly displayed in your BMC Framework. By monitoring all your Hitachi storage devices within a centralized management console, you can respond quickly to performance problems, easily determine capacity requirements, and effectively plan for network expansions.

Hitachi Disk Arrays KM for PATROL works in conjunction with Hardware Sentry KM for PATROL. Hardware Sentry KM discovers and monitors all the hardware aspects of the Hitachi disk array: disks, RAIDs, controllers, temperature sensors, fans, power supplies, Ethernet cards, fiber ports, etc. Hitachi Disk Arrays KM for PATROL discovers and monitors all the software aspects of the array: overall capacity, spare disks, data traffic, oversubscription, etc.

The KM requires Hitachi Device Manager to be properly installed one of your monitored servers.
