Integrated as a native module for BMC TrueSight Operations Management, Hitachi Disk Arrays KM for PATROL is designed to monitor the health and performance of your managed environment. Prior to install the KM, make sure that the following prerequisites are met.
BMC Framework
| • | PATROL Agent, version 3.9 or higher (see BMC PATROL documentation) |
| • | PATROL Console (see BMC PATROL documentation) |
Hitachi AMS, HUS, USP, VSP Systems
| • | Hitachi Device Manager must be properly installed and the statistics enabled. Refer to Monitoring Hitachi AMS, HUS, USP, and VSP Systems for more details. |
Hitachi VSP Gxxxx Series Systems
| • | The embedded SMI-S provider must be started |
| • | A User with "storage administrator View-only" role must be created |
| • | Statistics must be enabled. |
