All the information concerning disk arrays, storage pools, controllers, storage volumes, and ports are directly displayed in your BMC Framework. By monitoring all your IBM DS3000, DS4000, DS5000 Series storage devices within a centralized management console, you can respond quickly to performance problems, easily determine capacity requirements, and effectively plan for network expansions.

IBM DS3000, DS4000, DS5000 Series KM for PATROL works in conjunction with Hardware Sentry KM for PATROL. Hardware Sentry KM discovers and monitors all the hardware aspects of the IBM DS3000, DS4000, DS5000 Series disk array: disks, RAIDs, controllers, temperature sensors, fans, power supplies, Ethernet cards, fiber ports, etc. IBM DS3000, DS4000, DS5000 Series KM for PATROL discovers and monitors all the software aspects of the array: overall capacity, spare disks, data traffic, etc.
