Every component is uniquely identified on the SAN with an obfuscated series of letters and digits called a World Wide Name (WWN): logical drives, host groups, arrays, servers, etc. Retrieving a device corresponding to a WWN found in error log or any other administration GUI is a nightmare for SAN administrators. The Search WWN feature has been design to easily find any component based on its complete or partial WWN.
1. | In the console, click the KM Icon > KM Commands > Search WWN... |
2. | Select a search option, Contains, Start with, or Ends with. |
