Resetting the Space Condition Limitation Count

Since the manual acknowledgment of each error can rapidly become time consuming, NetApp Filers KM for PATROL can be configured to automatically acknowledge an alert on the SpaceConditionLimitationCount parameter available in the SEN_NAP_7 |SEN_NAP_C_SIS_VOLUME application class and reset it to zero after a specified period of time.

To set the automatic reset of the SpaceConditionLimitationCount parameter:

1.	Right-click the SIS Volume icon > KM Commands > Automatic Error Count Parameters Reset..:

2.	Select the period of time after which you want the KM to automatically reset the SpaceConditionLimitationCount parameter and click OK.

In many cases, an error that does not reoccur after a certain amount of time can be safely ignored. Automatically resetting the SpaceConditionLimitationCount parameters to zero after a few hours is often considered as a good practice.
