Detailed Description

This parameter shows the availability of the Backup Exec service. Values are:

Value	Description
0	The service is running
1	The service has stopped

The KM Configure > Service Monitoring menu command on the main Backup Exec icon configures the service monitoring rules for the Backup Exec KM.

Recommendations

If a required Backup Exec service stops, the operation of Backup Exec will be affected. Re-start the service using the Start/Stop Service menu from the service icon.
