Prerequisites

Integrated as a native module for PATROL, HP EVA KM for PATROL is designed to monitor the health and performance of your HP EVA storage environment. Prior to install HP EVA KM for PATROL on the HP Storage Server running Windows, make sure that the following elements are installed and properly configured:

•	PATROL Agent, version 3.8 or higher (see BMC PATROL documentation)

•	PATROL Console (see BMC PATROL documentation)

•	HP StorageWorks v9.1,or higher

•	Java 1.6 or higher.

HP EVA KM for PATROL must be installed on the HP Storage Server provided with the HP EVA disk array. The HP Storage Server usually comes bundled with the HP EVA disk array and is fully pre-installed by HP.
