Disabling Logical Drives Monitoring

Home  Previous  Next

Discovering and collecting logical drives metrics are resource-intensive actions that can create extra workload on the PATROL Agent and the targeted system. To limit the number of instances created and therefore reduce the system resource consumption, administrators can disable the monitoring of all the logical drives of a system.

To disable logical drives monitoring

1.Edit the policy that applies to the PATROL Agent monitoring the volumes you need to exclude or keep in the monitoring process.
2.Click the Monitor Configuration tab.
3.Click the Advanced button.
