Editing IBM DS Storage Manager Connection Settings

Should you need to edit an IBM DS Storage Manager connection settings:

1.Right-click a IBM DS Storage Manager connection icon > KM Commands > Edit Connection Settings

2.Modify the Server name (or IP address)

3.Click Next to continue

4.Modify the connection parameters and the WBEM Credentials, if required:

•Modify the port number through which the connection must be established

•Click the Encrypt data using the HTTPS protocol, if necessary (The port typically used to encrypt data for WBEM queries is 5989)

•Modify the username and password for the CIM server

5.Click Finish to save your changes.
