There are two methods for manually resetting alerts from the BEXJobStatus parameter:

Resetting a Single Job Alert:
From the job icon, select the Reset Job Alert menu. Press OK when done.
Resetting Multiple Job Alerts:
From the main Backup Exec icon, select the Backup Exec Admin => Reset Job Alerts menu. Select the jobs that you would like to reset the alert status for and press OK.
