Responding to Backup Exec Alerts

Verify that the application icon for the loaded application instance is displayed. If the icon does not appear, there may be a problem with your PATROL installation. Refer to the PATROL Installation Guide for help.

To respond to a Backup Exec Alert:

1.Right-click and hold the mouse pointer on the required Alert application instance icon.The application menu appears.
2.Choose Respond. A dialog box appears.

3.Select the required response type to send to the Backup Exec server. Click Accept.
4.A new dialog box will appear showing the status of your response to the alert (i.e. accepted or rejected by the server).
