To add a new storage subsystem to your monitored environment:
| 1. | Right-click the KM Icon > KM Commands > Add a Connection to a Storage Subsystem |
| 2. | Define the Storage Subsystem: |
| ▪ | Enter Storage Subsystem Name. This name will be used to identify the subsystem in the PATROL Console |
| ▪ | Enter the Controller A IP address. This is the controller that will be used preferentially by the subsystem. (Controller B IP address is optional) |
 The product will retrieve the controller B IP address during the discovery process and automatically save this information in the configuration.

| 3. | Click OK to save your settings. The Storage Subsystem is automatically added to the PATROL Console. |
