Defining a Maximum Number of Performance Instances

By default, NetApp Storage Monitoring processes a maximum of 200 instances by performance request for Cluster Volumes, Cluster LUNs, and Cluster Disks. In large environment, it may be convenient to increase the number of instances processed in a single performance request to optimize the collection duration.

To define the maximum number of performance instances

1.Create a new policy or edit an existing policy.
2.In the Add Monitoring Configuration panel, scroll down to the Optional Settings section.

4.In the Maximum Performance Instances section, enter the maximum number of instances that NetApp Storage Monitoring will process by performance request. By default, this option is set to 200 instances. It can be increased to a maximum of 500 instances.
5.Click OK to save your settings.
