Monitoring with the KM

Home  Previous  Next

Monitoring NetApp filers with NetApp Filers KM for PATROL is very simple. Once the KM is properly installed, as per the instructions given in the Installation Guide, NetApp Filers KM for PATROL detects all the various NetApp storage and hardware components and displays them in the PATROL interface.

This chapter provides detailed information on how to monitor your NetApp environment, how to perform usual administrative tasks, and how to manage thresholds and alert actions with NetApp Filers KM.

noteFor details on which performance metrics and usage statistics are detected on each system, please see the Classes and Parameters section in the Reference Guide.
